Q. What is a zine?
A. A zine is an independently published "mini magazine" that is usually produced in small, limited batches.Q. What is this zine about?
A. Our Love is a Arcane ship focused zine! We aim to showcase the various ships that people love from the show.Q. Who can apply?
A. We ask that all interested applicants be at least 18 years of age, or older. But other than that, we’re open to anyone! No previous zine experience is required.Q. Will the zine be digital or physical?
A. We're aiming for a physical release of the SFW zine!Q. Will the zine have a NSFW side?
A. We will ask about interest for two optional digital add-on's on the interest check, one for NSFW and one for Dead Dove content. If we have these add-on's will depend on interest check results.Q. How will contributors be compensated?
A. All contributors will be guaranteed at least the digital version of the zine. If sales allow the goal is to compensate contributors with the zine book, any physical merch, and shipping. However, as this is dependent on sales, any physical items and shipping compensation is not guaranteed.Q. Is this project SFW?
A. The main zine will be SFW-only, yes! We will ask about interest for two optional digital add-ons with higher ratings on the interest check.
Q. Will AUs be allowed?
A. Yes, AUs will be allowed.Q. Can I do League of Legends?
A. As AUs are allowed, technically, yes. However, as this zine is aimed at fans of the show, we ask that pieces only feature characters that were on the show AND that they be presented in a way that TV-only fans will understand and recognize the character(s).Q. Where are the zine's profits going to?
A. As this is a for-profit zine, the profits will be split equally between all moderators and contributors in the zine.Q. Can I share the WIPs online?
A. No, all work for the zine must be kept private until after the zine has concluded. However, after the creation phase, we will post previews of the work that's featured in the zine.Q. Will the zine contain spoilers?
A. Since we are including both seasons, yes, the zine will have spoilers.Q. Can I apply for more than one position?
A. Yes, we will allow people to apply to more than one role. Depending on interest check results, we may allow doubling up on roles OR have everyone only do one.
